you are what you eat

I was watching a episode of the Rockford Files this evening and  I almost laughed as I saw James Garner clothed in an outfit that my grandpa would have worn if he were still alive today. Tonight it made me realize that Grandpa never bought new clothes.  I never once saw him shopping in a department store in all my twenty-seven years. He wore his attire by the decade and they served him to his dying day.

So here we are again, starting art pieces for the show in February. What a summer, and what a fall! But ready or not, it's time to make art again.

Well this week I decided to invest in a toy. A scanner. A nice scanner. Now I can scan watercolors and they look nice, because of this nice investment.

Well, I sold a piece of art at Duluth Coffee Company last week. So here is a replacement I whipped up this evening. This window frame, I grabbed out the the sauna rafters yesterday at grandmas.  You got to do what you got to do. . .
