It's called, " My really bad outcome from a genius idea!" Studying texture and materials.

A lot of you folks may be shocked or even repulsed when you start to scroll down to view the images... don't worry, like I always say to my dearest friends, "It can only get better from here!" 

You wouldn't sew an orange peel back together just because it was torn open, would you? Sometimes time is most foolishly spent.

I think I'm just sick of making mistakes.

So many mistakes and dislike for what I am doing. Why do I still do it!!! I keep hearing a small voice in my head that says, "Make art. You signed up for it, don't let emotions get in your way".

But artwork is all about being in that art like mindset right? Wrong... it's about doing something over and over again, even when the feelings of excitement and entrepreneurism have faded like a catchy tune quietly becoming boring.

A study in a shower curtain

120 film scanned and reprinted on xerox paper- transferred onto burlap with white paint- and then covered with cheese cloth and deep base priming paint. The layers are beginning to show.

I really don't know where to take this idea. This may be a job for that sewing machine that has been sitting out in my car in -30 degree weather.
